  2. The current version of Gofer as of March 7, 1993 is 2.28a.  This is essentially
  3. the same as version 2.28 but benefits from:

  5.    o  support for slightly more different machines/compilers and some
  6.       clarification in the instructions for installing Gofer,
  7.  
  8.    o  some additional demonstration programs,
  9.  
  10.    o  LaTeX versions of the release notes for 2.21 and 2.28 provided by
  11.       Jeroen Fokker,
  12.  
  13.    o  improved scripts for Unix systems, and
  14.  
  15.    o  several bug-fixes.
